    Camp Buc Work Day
    buc

Summer will soon be here, and children will be looking forward to spending a week at Camp Buc in the mountains of North Carolina. In preparation for the summer camping season, Kevin Cartee, our new Outdoor Ministries Director, invites you to be a part of the camp cleanup on April 19. This will be a day to visit the camp and to lend a hand with various projects that need to be completed. These projects include things like siding on the new bath house, roof on old log cabin, landscaping, cleaning storage room, constructing playground area. Workers should bring gloves, shovels, post-hole diggers, chain saws, rakes, hammers, screw guns, pry-bars, etc.

The workday and open house will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 19. Lunch will be provided, and fun camp activities will be available in the afternoon. If you are not able to be at Camp Buc on April 19 but would like to help, maybe you could do one of the following: (1) provide lunch for the volunteers or (2) provide building materials for some of the projects.

Celebrate spring and enjoy a day in the beautiful mountains at Camp Buc. Your help will be very much appreciated. Please let us know if you're coming by calling the office at 864-288-5774 or by emaiing Sandy Sharpe at ssharpe@foothillspresbytery.org or Kevin Cartee at kevin@foothillspresbytery.org.
