| Fall at Camp Buc |
|
Thanks to the Rev. Frank Strickland these sugar maples have been planted around the campfire circle at Camp Buc. The beautiful colors of the leaves add so much to the landscape of the camp. Red maples have also been planted along the road coming in to camp. Camp Buc is a picturesque place in the mountains and is available for everyone to enjoy. Take a ride up to Sapphire and enjoy the view. |

| Young Adult Volunteer |
| Recently, Shelvis Smith-Mather, a PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer, shared his inspiring story during a CNN interview. He told CNN that his faith was strengthened by seeing the African church at work in the face of poverty, conflict and other pressing problems. "It's important to know that in the midst of the tragedy there's a whole lot of hope," he said. "There are a number of people who are doing amazing works for God there and engaging in these issues, and that's encouraging." Click here to view the video. |
