| Health Fair Needs Workers |
The Cultural Context Team of Foothills Presbytery, along with the Rev. Chuy Gallegos, Pastor for Hispanic Congregational Development, is sponsoring a Health Fair on Saturday, December 5, 9:00am until 1:00pm, at Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church in Greenville. Volunteers are needed to help with registration and organization of the Fair and to help with the clean up afterwards. Physicians are also needed to donate a few hours for seeing patients. The Georgia Presbytery Cluster is sponsoring an Interim Pastor Training at Calvin Center in Hampton, Georgia. The dates are January 11-15, 2010, for Levels 1 and 2 and the cost is $650 for each Level of training. The registration deadline is December 1, 2009. InDwellings, Inc., Foothills Presbytery's ministry to build homes for adults with developmental disabilities, unveils the design of their first homes to be built in Easley. The design was developed by the team of Joel Van Dyke and Allen Freeman from Freeman Major Architects of Greenville and Bob Dubose from Trehel Construction of Clemson. The team worked to find a plan that would balance the residents' needs for supervision and independence and provide opportunities for outdoor activities. Union-PSCE's New Online Resource for Ministry |

Union-PSCE has launched a new website that offers a host of online resources for using children's and adolescent literature in educational ministry. The website, Children's Literature:A Resource for Ministry, provides book reviews, lesson plans and ideas for ministry created by faculty and students at Union-PSCE. The project creates a venue to share resources for ministry created by the seminary's Christian education faculty and students with congregations.
